Important Installation Note:

All Hebie chainguards require a front chainguard fixing bracket for proper installation. This metal bracket mounts behind the chainring onto the face of the bottom bracket. Installation involves:

1. Removing the crank arm using a crank puller

2. Uninstalling the bottom bracket with a cartridge bottom bracket tool

3. Positioning the fixing bracket and reinstalling the bottom bracket to secure it in place

Hebie’s Model 970 fixing bracket offers a simplified installation process without full bottom bracket removal.

To complete your setup, don’t forget to purchase a rear universal clamp that matches your bike’s seat stay diameter—this secures the rear end of the chainguard.
